Missing feel from tires in turns

As the title says, I miss some feeling especially at turn-in. It feels somewhat "floaty", and I find it difficult to find if it understeer or not. I do think I had a better feel before I went awol for a year or so.

DD1, CS F1 v.2 latest drivers and firmware. Settings in Fanalab as shown in the screenshot.


Any advice is welcome! :)

    Not that i can help huge amounts, but what sim(s) is this on? Have you checked the recommended settings on the forum - since they may have changed after a year or so?

    Ok, dont use Linear mode for iRacing on the DD1 (actually i dont use it for any sim) and untick use linear mode in the iRacing FFB options.

    I found with linear mode ticked i couldn't feel the limits of tyre grip as well. All peak seems to work better plus gives stronger FFB if you want more than 15nm.

    Turn inertia off and set your steering rotation to 900 degrees and do the same in game. While Fanatec recommends 1080, I read that iRacing is programed around using 900 degrees and i found 900 feels more connected.

    Also turn off game dampener effect.
