Can I make a request to change the main page of Fanalab to be more usable? I don't really know why 90% of the screen needs to be dedicated to showing me what game I might be playing and the 2 active things plugged in while the game library list is a single column shoved off in the corner. Can we at least get some kind of library grid? Like maybe 50% of screen width or something? I've added a bunch of custom games and I can't think of a less efficient way to display them.
The Main page was already re-organized with FanaLab V2.0.
At some point the Driver Control Panel and the Lab will merge into one software suite so there wont be any ressources spent to re-organize anything in this UI anymore, only refinements and bug-fixes are done and new features which dont require a complete rework of a full page which is quite a lot of work... Ressources are extremely limited and we just can not justify spending much development time into a UI which will be EOL at some point this or next year...
I see you added WRC game support but there are no default profiles (at least not for DD+) or in game settings or even a website link to click for it. When will these things be added? And more or less the same question for Forza Motorsport.
Whilst technically car profiles aren't compatible between all Wheelbases (Only because they are made for specific equipment and different levels of FFB settings for stronger or weaker based Wheelbases.
ie, Podium DD1 Profile with forces up to 15nm used on a CSL DD that can only do 8nm at best would be inappropriate and just to strong that may have it clipping, conversely a CSL DD profile would be very week if used for a Podium DD1).
You can use any Game / Car profile for any wheelbase, so long as you modify the settings (FFB, etc) and equipment in the profiles to match your pedals, Wheelbase, Steering Wheel, etc and then re-save the profile.
Issue was identified. Reason is that the CDALP lists were somehow not added to the installer so the Lab now crashes when you want to access the game profile or cars list.
Here is the workaround to get LMU working without the crashes:
Copy the 2 attached missing files to %localappdata%\Fanatec\FanaLab\xml.
Hi, the rotate function of the funky switch on my formula rim is counting as 2 inputs when only rotating once, this is happening both ways, in all sims. Yet in fanatec software it looks like it only inputs once, any help is appreciated, thanks

I apologise for my basic question... :)
How do I add the profile that someone has created on Fanalab?
Is this profile compatible even with different bases?
Thanks!

Ooh some Le Mans Ultimate would be nice !
Here is a video on how to use Fanalab and import the car profiles.

Hello!
Can we expect "Le Mans Ultimate" support?
thx
Yes.
great :)
The LEDs, all wheelbases (i think).
For the FFB, only DD2/DD1 and now CS DD/DD+
FanaLab 2.01.27 available
Added support for Le Mans Ultimate
Fanalab is crashing when you select le mans.
Fanalab is crashing when you select le mans for me too
Yes Crash to Fanalab when start LMU
Fanalab instantly crashes when clicking on LMU on the Game Profile tab.
FanaLab crashes as soon as I try to click on Le Mans Ultimate in FanaLab or start the game from steam
This happens with or without my base switched on
DD2, Podium hub BMR/BME
Can confirm - instant crash with selecting LMU under game profiles.
Logs attached.
yes i also can confirm that Fanalab craches when selecting LMU..
If you report any kind of crash related issues please ALWAYS upload Log files, otherwise it is simply impossible to investigate the crash!
Thanks for the one report with the Logs, this helps the dev to investigate the issue.
No need for any further reports, it is under investigation already.

Thanks Maurice. I can confirm the crash has been resolved. Thank you very much!
It works! thanks Maurice
Thanks for confirming that the workaround works!
Also big thx to our dev who spent some extra time in the evening to fix this now also in the code with a new FanaLab version 2.01.28.
hi Maurice ,
It 's ok for me , Fanalab 2.01.28 runs correctly.
When will we be able to have lmu profiles ?
bye
Maybe tomorrow, otherwise next week.
Pretty difficult to get the RPM right in this game......

This is not a FanaLab related issue
My mistake I thought I was in the driver thread
Just curious but how come?
Because 1mm of pedal travel is like 300RPM on the engine.
