DIY Handbrake Cable

I am making my own cables for the shifter and handbrake as I can't find mine anymore. The shifter was easy to do, but the handbrake is a bit more of a challenge. I have a 90-degree 3.5mm plug and RJ12 connectors, but I'm unsure of the wiring between the two. If anyone has experience with this, your help would be appreciated.

I had a mini jack plug (female part) that failed over time, having a loose connection. Flickering bar. Decided to throw out the mini jack connectors and hard wire, using small wire connectors. Here's the wiring diagram - in words: Base (handbrake unit) black wire connects to black and green PC cable wires. Base red wire connects to white cable wire. Base wire blue connects to red cable wire. Gets rid of the annoying jack on the outside also.
