QR2 on Wheels?

I am looking to buy a new wheel but I must pay extra to have the QR2 shipped on the wheel now. I thought QR2 was the correct standard that Fanatec are pushing now?

And QR1 is out of stock?

I am confused as to what I should do from here?

Does QR2 fittings not ship on wheels now? Or are they a mandatory upgrade that a customer must pay for?

Hopefully someone can help me out here.

    QR2 is optional for the next 1.5 years where QR1 is still the default on old wheels.

    Only on brand new wheels QR2 is the default.

    So if I buy the Podium GT Endurance bundle with podium hub and APM (a new set), this will ship with QR2 as it is new?

    They ship that what you see at shop.

    It does not specify at the shop which one is included with the wheel.
