What driver to use for new DD? Is 455 the “official” driver?

I’m asking this question because if I go to the driver page of the Fanatec website, 455 is the driver available to download. I know 456 and 457 are available in the forums. I have a CSW 2.5 on 451 but waiting on a Clubsport DD F1 esports bundle I ordered last week. I see a few reported problems with the latest two drivers for the new wheelbases, and am a little confused on which driver to use to initially get started with the new wheelbase.

Appreciate any info about this.

    For DD or DD+ base, 454 and 455 are stable.

    For V2.5 F1 wheel, 457 is recommended. (455 and 454's wheel firmware has a funky switch miss-click problem)

    Thanks for that. I installed 455 last night which updated firmware on the V2.5 wheelbase and the McLaren V1 rim. All set for the DD. I’m much more focused on the new equipment of course.

    Hello, I have CS DD and recently buyed V2.5x wheel.


    I have 455 firmware but I'm having a bug with the funky switch click.


    I upgraded only the wheel firmware to 457, and the qr firm and the base firm stay in 455.


    The problem is that with this combination I can't put the base in xbox mode. Have I to upgrade the QR firm to 457?
