CS DD+ Always starts in Update Mode
Target is Wheelbase Main PCBA
So always when i start my base it starts in update mode for some reason. Happens with and without a wheel attached.
Should i open a Ticket and get it repaired or is there a way to fix it myself

i tried everything, no luck, sent back to RMA
does the 454 driver todo same?
Did it go into update mode on its own? Or were you trying to update or downgrade the firmware?
If you were trying to go from 457 to 455, it won't work directly. You need to go from 457 to 456 and then from there to 455
it went into update mode without anything, one day i was playing, turned off, next day turned on and immediately update mode (red light on base and fanatec logo on wheel), connected to pc (coz i play on ps) and fanatec welcomed me with update mode, from that point i tried every f..in thing nothing helped, sent back to rma, waiting for fixed/new one now (I was on 454, but then tried all version, no luck)
i saw for some firmware update fixed it but most of the people are stuck with that (i bet something with pcb)
ok. when you turn of the base. how long you hold button down ?
because fanatec have this hold button down feature what activates that manual installing
it could be that this part off firmware or software is broken. its even have the reports that for some people it killed the base when todo this
This feature does not exist on CS DD anymore.
just for couple sec 1-2 max 3, but with the update mode "bug" you cant turn it off anymore only unplug it.
