CSL LC pedals not detected

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but my pedals aren't detected in Fanatec control panel or Fanalab. They are showing up in device manager as 'Fanatec Wheel Virtual Mouse' though. This happened after driver update 454 and hasn't resolved with the newer drivers. I use them standalone plugged directly into PC via USB.

I've reinstalled the latest drivers multiple times, tried different cables and PCs with different operating systems. Support have said I need to ship them in and pay for a repair which I refuse to do - I'd rather just buy a new set from a different company.

Anyone with similar issues find a solution? I've heard some people have success re-flashing the firmware but Fanatec haven't replied when I ask how to do that. Any help greatly appreciated, thanks!

    that sounds fishy, like it installed wrong drivers or something like this

    to you made any firmware update or you just installed the 454 drivers?

    it feels like it not detects your pedals tho because mouse is meant for something else, not sure why it there first place

    there are other company that use same vendor ID like fanatec

    so there is small change that something may go very wrong
