360Hz ffb

Hello, I understand that this development is not a priority for the company at the moment, but I would like to know if there is a project to integrate native 360Hz into iRacing via the fanatec API.

  • It is on the list to get investigated when there is some spare time available but not anytime soon.

In an ideal world iRacing would finally update their physics to 360 Hz FFB itself without giving this job to wheel manufacturers instead.........

  • thanks for the answer

  • What would this actually improve? Just curious, thanks.

  • Better FFB detail as it refreshes faster so more details can be felt which otherwise with their low 60 Hz refresh are just completely missing.

  • I think Fanatec should implement this feature as soon as possible. The iRacing community is a large community in the world of sim racing, and such features determine whether a player chooses Fanatec or another manufacturer's hardware.

I see that Fanatec does not have the resources to implement such features in a reasonable time, driver updates are very rare and many fixes are still missing. But maybe it's time to invest in a larger team of programmers? After all, Fanatec is losing customers because of the poor software support.

"It is on the list to get investigated when there is some spare time available but not anytime soon." does not sound very optimistic and does not encourage buying hardware from this company.

There are currently no plans to implement this 360 Hz FFB workaround in the Firmware anytime soon due to lack of ressources, we still encourage iRacing to update their FFB on their own (which they plan to do according to several dev updates so we dont see the reason why we should spent a HUGE amount of effort into this and do this now for them when our work then would get obselete in the future anyway).

  • Thanks for your reply. I understand. So let's hope iRacing will update FFB soon.
