Podium Advanced Paddle Module compatability

I know it says its not compatable with the ClubSport Steering Wheel F1 Esports, but why?
Isn't it the same frame and maybe a light version on the circuit board? Is there no way to mod this or something?

    The standard CS Formula Wheels (non V2) are equipped with an older version of the formula circuit board i think (from the old formula and formula carbon wheels). So the new APM and its additional functions (dual clutch and second pair of paddles) were never planned for this. The Non-V2 wheels also don't have the multi-position switch on the front which is controlling the function of the dual-clutch paddles. Maybe it is possible to get the paddles for gear shift up and down to work with the old circut board if you connect the correct little wires from the APM to the old plugs of the standard paddle shifters and then plug these into the standard slots on the non V2 board. But this is on your own risk and will maybe damage your circuit board (?).
