Now I experienced what you mean with your second issue where you get a big force spike when the car is about to stop after a spin.
This is not because of my Tuning Menu settings but it is an issue with the custom ffb settings file which was made by @Daniel Schibli (I only slightly adjusted the kerb smoothing, rest is original file where I also dont know what all these parameters in that file are doing so I dont know what to adjust here). Maybe he reads this and can answer whats causing this so I can adjust this in the file as its indeed quite dangerous.
But still I dont have any oscillations anymore no matter which car, that one I definitely cant reproduce when I use my car profiles with my suggested in game settings and this new custom ffb file.
With todays new iRacing Season 4 2022 update now being out of course I also already made a profile for the new Porsche Mission R car (well, not much to do as it doesnt feature any kind of LEDs)... :D
I also added ABS brake pedal vibration to all cars which does have ABS in the Sim.
And finally I also made some last final adjustments to 73 of the 108 AMS2 car profiles where I adjusted mainly the NDP value and for a very few cars also the FFB strength value.
There wont be any new update in the very near future now, most likely next update only with the next FanaLab update (or when a surprise new car drops in some Sim).
I'm new to Fanalab 1.66, I just installed it today so I'm sorry if I ask dumb question or if this is not the right place to ask... I only run Iracing and was looking to try some profiles, but what I see so far are for DD1/2 but I have the GT DD Pro with McLaren v2 wheel and Clubsport v3 pedals.
If you're already using Fanalab, I'm not sure I see the need for something like this, as you can essentially do what you're asking by saving, naming, and loading your setup files as you would do with any other Windows file. The only place this would make sense would be renaming them on the wheel display itself (perhaps because you're on console and therefore can't use Fanalab). I can't see how this would work either though, as I think many wheel displays (especially somewhat older models) are too short and it would prove difficult to display anything more meaningful than the current numbers to help distinguish one setup from another.
I have only activated the Pit Limiter and the ABS in the display of my Formula V2. Usually my display is blank most of the driving time, but since Version 1.66 the [P] and [A] won't disappear when the Limiter is disabled or ABS isn't active in iRacing and ACC... but all LED's are working perfectly.

Question for further developments: Is it possible to add an automated profile/car loader? Fanalab could read the choosen car (in iRacing i.e.) and load the appropriated profile automatically. Only an additional car dropdown field would be necessary in the profile parameters...
So this is probably a dumb question, but I can't see how to do a "Save As" (to another name) for a profile... what am I missing (don't you dare say a brain! lol)?
I've also created a task to make this part of profile saving more intuitive in a future FanaLab version. Problem is that the recommended profile, which can't be overwritten takes the spot in the profile name section while without recommended profile there would be "New Profile" written and the Save button always available.
Thanks for listening to the feedback and working towards making a great program even better. I'm learning and getting into making custom profiles for my iracing now and it's so much easier being able to have custom profiles for each car. I agree with Ari Lappi as well regarding the font size because I'm old and would like to scale it to my liking. lol The only other thing I think would be a nice addition is a place to keep side notes within the profiles, like suggested in game settings and such.
The font size is on our radar for quite some time and I lately wanted to give this task a push, sadly how the UI development was started didn't prepare for this so we have to make more extensive changes to have adjustable sizes, which I found surprising but sadly is the case.
Because of a current issue where sometimes the Reverse Damper effect is not cancelled properly so the Damping effect stays active even when you drive forwards again, I decided to disable the Reverse Damper in all my 246 profiles.
This new profile pack also includes a MASSIVE FFB update to all the 246 profiles - by far the biggest FFB update since I initially shared my first profiles. Changes apply to both the Tuning Menu values as well as in game values so also open the included readme files for the new in game settings.
The FFB strength now is maxed out to a value of 60, which means maximum peaks of 15Nm as I found that 15Nm is the perfect sweet spot of peak strength I want to feel.
This also makes it easier now to adapt this DD2 profiles to use with a DD1 as for most profiles all a DD1 user now has to do is to increase the FFB strength from 60 to 75 and then the profile will already feel as intended. For lower FFB strength values the calculation rate is still 1.25 (so for example FFB strength in the profile of 52 x 1.25 = FFB strength of 65 for a DD1 user).
For the iRacing profiles this also means Wheel Force is now always 15Nm and only the Max Force value needs to be adjusted in the game.
As requested I also created new profiles for the iRacing Lotus 49, Lotus 79 and Ford GT GT3 cars and I also re-enabled the RPM LEDs of the Porsche 992 Cup car profile because iRacing changed the LED range in their Season 4 2022 update so the RPM lights now can at least be used to have (more or less) accurately working LEDs. It's still not synced because iRacing uses different RPM values for every gear which FanaLab does not support but it's useable now at least.

Oscillation is not that bad, but if'd leave the wheel even with a minimum touch the dampening wouldn't be able to stop it.
Any chance you could recommend some fanatec settings to use with the default AMS2 FFB?
I dont like the default AMS2 FFB so I cant recommend anything for it, sorry.

Where can I find others to try for my combo?
AFAIK nobody has shared profiles for CSL and GT DD.
Hi, a bit of a random suggestion i guess, but can we have an option to rename the 1 to 5 setup in the tuning menu ?
For example, instead of showing "Setup 1" or "Setup 2", having "Setup F3" or "Setup GT3s" would be a nice QoL i think.
That would be a Firmware Feature, not a FanaLab thing, with a LOT of work, currently not being considered, no.
Alright, time to train my brain to remember my setup's name then 😂

Cheers Peter
"Is it possible to add an automated profile/car loader?"
Yes, and it's coming very soon ;)
Perfect, really good news...
The issues concerning the display problems with the Formula V2 are already known?
Wasnt known but is now known ;)

Just enter the new name in the box and then press 'Save'
Hi , New here. Simply question reference the profiles;
is it normal that I get a error (See screenshot) because I don't have the dd2, and would they still work, do I need to take action ?
Base: DD2
Wheel: Formula V25x
Game: ACC
Car: Mclaren 720S GT3
Yes that message is normal when you want to load a profile which was saved with different base, wheel or pedals.
Just click yes and afterwards overwrite the profile, then it will save with "your" devices and the message wont come up again.
Thx man!
Thank you so much! I swear to you I'm usually very good at finding things, but I don't consider that intuitive. lol
I've created a task to make this message more clear in the future.

Thank you Maurice for the profiles! Especially Porsche GT3R in Iracing feels amazing to drive now.
The Font size should be configurable in Fanalab as I feel it is too small.
Otherwise great work!

Hey Maurice, Do you think these could be adapted to the DD Pro base okay?
Thanks in advance!
Nope, Podium DD exclusive.
