universal hub not calibrating steering value.

I have the clubsport universal V2 hub with the nascar rim put on it but for some reason when I try to use it the steering values only go up by 2s. instead of going 1,2,3,4,5 and so on all the way up to 100 mine goes by twos 2,4,6,8,10,12 all the way to 100. so when you go from left to right it goes from -2 to +2. you get this crazy snap and jump from the steering making it impossible to float the steering wheel. I have tried reinstalling the driver and nothing seems to be working. Has anyone ever had this problem and knows how to fix it?
