Guidance please

Hey, new here, finally looking to get into sim racing after a number of years playing with controller but slightly confused as to what I need. Plan is to purchase; McLaren wheel, elite v1.1 base and elite pedals with the load cell. Slightly confused as to whether I need to purchase the quick release for the McLaren wheel and why the elite load cell pedals are more expensive (in Australia at least) if purchased as a single kit rather than two separate items? Thanks for clarification.

I would steer clear of the McLaren rim and get the formula V2 instead. When you can afford it you can get the apm module, it is so good and there are more buttons in it too, is smaller but I like small formula type rims
