CSL Elite Pedal bolts to hard mount

The manual for the CSL Elite Pedals mentions a M8 bolt to hard mount pedals to rig but does not mention max length of bolts. The manual for the CSL Elite wheel base specifically says bolts can not exceed 16 mm inside wheel base. I am eagerly awaiting arrival today of my wheel and pedals and want to go to hardware store to get right bolts to mount. Does anyone know the max length of bolts to hard mount CSL Elite pedals or are there no restrictions like the Wheel base?

For the wheelbase, the bolts go up into it, so there is a max length.
For the pedals, the bolts go down, away from it, so there is no max length.
There is maybe a max length for the rig that is used. But you need to check the manual of the rig for that.
