Lazy steer

Hello, There seems to be a small delay between my steer input and the reaction of the car. It’s like the steer is less direct than my real car (Lotus Elise) resulting in a somewhat ‘lazy’ car. The result is I compensate a bit and after a short while the car steers a bit too much and I have to correct in the opposite direction. So, no precision in steering. Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks a lot, Serge

  • I’m sure it’s a setting in AC, not a hardware problem or Fanatec setting.

Do you have your wheel SENS set to 1080 and in game matching? I would avoid using Auto SENS. Under Advanced/Steering Settings Gamma 1, Filter and Speed Sens 0.

I have it on 720 in the driver AND in AC. So the steering angle is OK, it’s just the car reacts a bit late. It feels like there is a dead spot when the steer is in a neutral position, turning the steer a little bit from that neutral position has almost no effect.

Try setting it to 1080 and the game will automatically match in car DoR

    What is DoR?
