iracing loses connection to wheelbase

I have to restart my Clubsport v2.5 once I start an iRacing session otherwise while racing the Clubsport 2.5 will lose connection to the game for about 10 seconds at some point. In addition, the brf and FEI settings are also not found, meaning my braking characteristics go out of synch. In addition, by starting the Clubsport when the game has started, none of the telemetry works on the steering wheel. Please help!
