V3 Firmware update - stupid question time

Stupid Question TIme

I have a new set of V3's that are plugged into a DD1 via the RJ12 cable.

Can the firmware for the pedals be updated this way or do I have to disconnect the RJ12 from the pedals and use the USB direct to PC to update the firmware on the pedals first?

Not sure if I remember seeing the pedals firmware being updated when I went through updating everything else on first start.

    V3 doesn't have a new firmware since they were released 5 years ago.

    However IF there WOULD be a new firmware, you would only be able to update by connecting the Pedals via USB.

    But there is no new firmware, so don't bother.. ^^
