Formula Carbon is making electrical noise in game

I was getting a really loud fan on my CSW 2.5 with driver v347 & v365 so I tried v328 (w/ FW 628+18)

The fan is much quieter, but now I have a crazy electrical noise coming from my Formula Carbon while in game & racing.

As soon as I leave the track & go into game menu's the electrical noise stops.

Is this normal?
