CSL Elite Wheelbase Creaking Noise

I've had the wheel base for about a month. In iRacing i just started to drive the Skip Barber F2000. My wheel creaks just like this guys issue:

It will go away if i turn the the FF tuning option down to 50. At that low of a threshold it really diminishes the rest of the FFB info from the software to barely noticeable.

What can be done about this?
