Bottom mounting hole threads do no line up

I finally received my DD1 after waiting for two months and this is the first thing I notice. The bottom mounting hole thread inserts do not line up, enough so that I can not get a fastener into the hole. Does anyone have any experience with the internals of these wheel bases. Would I be able to adjust these or are they welded in place. I can probably make it work, but I don't like that I will have to cut into an anodized component, kinda defeats the purpose.

I must say I'm very disappointed that something as expensive as these bases do not have a better quality control system in place.

    Please create a support ticket (via the My Products section of your Fanatec account). That is a clear manufacturing defect and we should be able to immediately replace this unit for you.
