ClubSport Magnetic Paddle Module, paddle bolt holes spacing

Is that same as in Advanced paddle modula paddles? I ask because if I order PAPM, I put that in F1 2020 LM wheel, and this into my UHX, and then of course I need to put bigger paddles to it. Either ones from APM or something from third sector.

Hi Rami, I'm not sure what you're talking about.

If you have the F1 2020 limited edition wheel, there is no UHX involved.

The F1 is a standalone wheelbase, much like the BMW wheel, or the Porsche 918 wheel.

If you have an F1 2020 wheel, or the Forumula V2 wheel, you can remove the included paddles and replace with the advanced paddle module - all the needed screws are included with the APM kit.

Page 1 of this guide, under "Upgrade Shifter Paddles" shows the process: https://fanatec.com/media/pdf/85/a0/3c/CS-SWFORM-F1-2020-QG_Web_01_MO.pdf

Here is the same guide for the Formula V2 wheel: https://fanatec.com/media/pdf/e6/af/ff/CS-RFORM-V2-QG-EN_WebJYbpCp9GVPRhe.pdf

Here's a video showing how the APM is installed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeuxymAf_CE

I have F1 2020 LM, with Clubsport magnetic shifters(which are not yet sold alone). I plan to buy APM and put that in that F1 2020 wheel, so of course I remove the original, shift only, magnetic shifters. But after that I want to put those cs magnetics to one of my un.hubs(xbox version), they are other wise compatible, same connecter etc. But of course they then need bigger paddles, I can't use F1-paddles with 30cm or so wheel.

And that's why I ask, can I use bigger GT-paddles which comes with APM, with CS magnetic shifters = does those shifters has same bolt hole spacing for shift paddles. THere are outside options also, third party companies sell compatible paddles too, like SRM.

I have 9 or so Fanatec wheels and hubs, and all of them need magnetic shifters or similars at some point.

  • Ahh, I understand the question now, but unfortunately don't have the answer :-(

I suspect the alignment is the same for all shifters, and it's only length of screw/bolt that changes.

  • Yeah, and I know that too now. Received my APM and put that to F1 2020. And its old shifters to (x)un.hub. Although have to say that APM's 2mm GT-paddles are quite flexy, plan to buy SRM's stiffer replacement set for APM.

But otherwise my un.hub wheel combo is now way lighter with those magnetic shifter modules, but F1 is now heavier, so...
