Compatibility problems?!

Hey everyone.
i have an issue. I scrambled some hardware (second hand) to dip my toes into some simracing. I setup my clubsport wheelbase v1 with a formula 1 2019 (limited edition) steering wheel and pedals. Installed firmware, went to the property page, updated firmware on the baseand everything. Problem is that buttons on the steering wheel are not responsive and pedals don’t work at all. Is this due to the older wheelbase and do i need a newer one or is there a solution somehow?
edit: if i turn the wheel it does respons to my input but that’s it. Rest doesn’t work

Your wheel is not compatible with the V1 Clubsport base. The wheel only works with newer bases.
Pedals don’t know you did not tell what pedals you got.
