Fanalab for pedals only? (v3)

Hi all, I'm wanting to use Fanalab to save my CSPv3 pedal calibration settings so that I can back them up before I do a clean install of windows.

I have fanatec pedals only - I do not have a fanatec wheel or any other fanatec periperals.

Has anyone who has pedals-only done this? 

If so which driver did you install? I've installed fanalab but when attempting to run it prompts me to install driver v336 or later which I know are beta drivers. Currently I have driver version 328 installed. 

I've checked the release notes for driver v336 but can't see any mention of the pedals.

Anyone know if I need to have a fanatec wheel in order to use fanalab and the required drivers?
