Using the Fanatec handbrake with Forza 7

Does anybody know if the handbrake is now compatible with Forza 7 on the Xbox one? I purchased it a couple years ago thinking that it would work but it didn't. I thought I read somewhere where now it works. Can somebody confirm that it's compatible now?

Support for the handbrake connected to a Fanatec wheelbase was added last April for consoles.
