dd1 firmwear crashed on install now fan is at max and cant connect to the base

the frimwear install crashed and now the fan is running max cant se the base in fanatec softwear... windows can se it but not the fanatec softwear... can i reset the firwear some how. the menu in the whell base works fine but it thinks it connected to a xbox

Try holding down the power button for 10 seconds - that should put the base into boot loader mode and with luck you should be able to complete the firmware install.
got it reinstalled now but its in xbox mode

Wheel and Wheelbase don't need to be disconnected at all while updating drivers.
Also motor calibration is only required after a newly flashed Motor FW :)
And not even required as it can cause other issues which is the reason I dont use the motor calibration at all as it feels much better without ^^

Okay my bad for misunderstanding. From your post I thought you meant either Maurice or me. It's always good to share experience with others and it doesn't matter which base we have. In general I think the community is great.

do you mean that you can flash the motor firmware and completely skip 'erase motor calibration' and 'motor sensor calibration' steps?
