Nasty noises and feeling in the Podium Hub

https://youtu.be/KDwq4GYZKkc

This setup is only like 4 or 5 months old and the quick release doesn’t fit properly which results in this nasty noise. Every time the noise appears, you can feel a slight shift in the quick release. So you can actually feel that the wheel moves within the quick release. And you know what? Fanatec support says that this is not a problem and that this is normal?

I mean WTF is a problem for them? This thing costs way too much to have this kind of issues. My 10 year old Thrustmaster T500 RS was more reliable...

(I also sent a shorter version of the video to the support. So they know how it sounds.)

    Hi Rouven,

That isn't exactly what support said. Some noise generation is normal but is affected significantly by settings. The effectiveness of the expandable rubber gasket on the QR also depends on how the wheel is mounted and what lubrication is being used. Using the safety bolt can also help. But if you are not satisfied with the performance we can take a look at your unit.
