Quick Release Question

I’m planning on running two rigs with the ClubSport WB at a motorsport event in January. The plan is to replicate driver swaps as in a real endurance race. The driver swaps will be physical, not virtual (one driver swapping in the same rig). To make sure I order the right steering wheel what I really would appreciate knowing is if the wheel will keep its configuration if we use the quick release to help people get in and out of the rig more easily. I am also concerned about damage to the pins and would be most grateful for any thoughts on this. My preferred wheel is the Porsche RSR wheel combined with the ClubSport WB but would need to think again if the wheel loses configuration after a quick release mid-race.
