Porsche 918 Rim?

So I have a CSL 1.1 base and the F1 Esports rim that I bought about 7 months ago, no problems love the kit. On the Black Friday sale I got the Porsche 918 rim and it doesnt work. When I put the wheel on the base the lights dont light up at all, the base doesnt fill the rev lights all the way and the power led strobes red..... What does this mean? RMA? I hate dealing with RMA stuff cause Im disabled and cant walk to the end of the block, let alone drive a car to the post office to do anything.... HELP

is there like no other info or FAQ's for this??? Id rather get this figured out sooner than later so im not dealing with christmas time delays
EDIT : After messin around for the past 2 hours trying to find some info on the internet and/or videos on this and no help... Ive started a support request but im sure i wont hear back for a couple days see it that its friday, then add another week to that because that seems to be response time.... really sucks that i pay 350$ for a friggin wheel for it to not even power on when plugged in and theres really no way to "reach out" for help other than a freakin forum.
The lights will only work if you are using it on PC. They will not work on Xbox or Playstation.
its on pc (windows 10 64 bit)
The rev lights on the 918 RSR wheel work perfectly on Playstation.
