First of all merry christmas to everyone in here and i hope you have had some nice christmas holidays (maybe some new simracing gear under your christmas tree...)
Thanks to the devs for your hard work on fanalab and the brilliant new features we got in this update.
I would be very happy about another feature though:
Currently for the OLED Display and also 7-segment display on older wheels we have the option to choose which information we want with what priority or constantly displayed which is an extremely welcome option.
There is the option to choose "Anti-Lock-Brakes" and "Traction Control". Now I though this would mean whenever I change my TC or ABS setting then the currently changed to value would be displayed on screen, however this option only means that whenever your ABS/TC engages it will display "Abs" / "tc" on the screen.
I get that not all games support outputting the currently set values for ABS and TC so that's probably where this option comes from. But on my Formula V2 i can already tell when the TC and ABS engage because of the flag LEDs.
I saw in the "Feature Support ITM" pdf that already AC and AC Competizione support this feature of returning the currently set values though. So could you maybe consider implementing this into the next update? It could be made like the options DRS and ERS that are greyed out for games that dont support this feature like ACC as GT3s obvioulsy don't come with any of those.
This would make life a lot easier as I think I am probably not the only one who would welcome such a feature, as It can be quite difficult to read the values on the Formula V2 rotary dials while driving, especially in the dark...
Anyway have some nice holidays and very well deserved days off and keep up the amazing work in the next year.
I have an issue and I'm not sure if it's expected behaviour in Fanalab, bug or configuration.
I have a CSL Elite PS4 with P1 wheel + CS v3 pedals. In iRacing, I want to use fanalab for Tuning and Dynamic FFB. However I want to use iRacing for shift indicator LEDs as it's pretty good, saves me from having to tweak every car in fanalab to get it right (a lot of work).
Here is the situation:
No Fanalab = iRacing revleds work
Fanalab with LEDs enabled, in-game LEDs disabled = Fanalab LEDs work (but are wrong, of course)
Fanalab with LEDs disabled, in-game LEDs enabled = No LEDs work
I would have thought that with the 3rd option there, that iRacing's LEDs would have been used? That would be ideal! Any way to make this happen?
First time poster bear with me! Not on the savvy side.
Im running a Fanatec Clubsport 2.5 Wheelbase, with a Universal Hub fitted with a Sparco Steering Wheel. I just did the 1.54.2 Beta Fanalabs update and i've had 4x separate occasions on iRacing where during a race or practice, the hub has manually by itself switched over to the Xbox hub (green ring) and gone completely off.
Everything of the software is completely up to date so I am wondering how to fix this issue, can be quite frustrating.
I have the pedals v3 (via usb), all update.. fanalab works fine but the option "suspension travel vibration" don't work (assetto corsa), while the other vibration effects works. What can I do?
Using the Podium BME on a CWB 2.5 base. Not sure if this has been addressed in some other post.
For iRacing it seems the tire temps for the right tires are not correct. They read the outer temp while the left tires read the inner temp.
Two questions on the ITM interface:
1 What do these symbols mean? It looks like they are clickable but they are not.
2 Is the ITM display duration option supposed to be working? In my setup it does not.
And please make the display switching mappable. pressing the tuning button and turning the funky switch (with gloves) during a hectic race is really distracting.
Point 1 and 2: those Symbols are for The ITM auto-page-switch functionality which is currently disabled because of a firmware issue which first needs to be fixed sometime this year. Once that firmware issue is fixed the auto-page-switch feature becomes available for the BME and you can select the ITM page and Symbols as well as Display du ration time.
For the Button Combination to change ITM pages: this wont be changed.
For iRacing Tire Temps: the tire temp page is pretty much useless for iRacing anyway because it Doesnt show the Temps in real time so there is pretty much no reason to ever use it... But yes it shows indeed the outer temp for right and inner temp for left tires. Will report it.
Soryy for this basic question, but fanalab 1.53 was my first fanalab installation. Do we need to uninstall the old version of fanalb before installing the new one?
still no throttle vibrations in PC 2. they worked great under driver 380 with no fanalabs running. now with 381 and fanalabs 1.54.2 i cant get that feature back. any ideas?

How and where do you turn off in-game leds for Assetto Corsa? Didn't see any option in game? Thanks.

Something like that is coming in 2021 or 2022, but not in the next update for sure.
Okay, thanks a lot for clarifying and the extremly fast response :)
Thanks. I already sent you the Windows looks. You said VC 2020 but the latest that Microsoft released was VC 2019, no? Where do I get the vc 2020?
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
Did you tried to delete the Registry key as I suggested on reddit?
Yes I did.
1) deleted Endor key. Started fanalab. Same problem
2) After fanalab was started, the key was back. Deleted it again. Uninstalled fanalab. Reinstalled fanalab. Run it. Same problem.
Thanks.
Mhm. Then I fear it might be an issue with your Windows 10 installation and only a fresh new Windows 10 installation would help...
My Windows was a fresh install on a new built gaming pc so I'm not going to reinstall it again.
Everything else work just fine except fanalab.
When are you going to support car ahead and car behind in ACC?
Are you going to support custom pages?
Car ahead and behind is being looked on if it can be supported sometime 2021.
No for the custom pages though.
Hello, my fanalab opens and minimizes to try and for some reason i cannot get the mainscreen up anymore. Is there someone who knows how to fix this?
I have an issue and I'm not sure if it's expected behaviour in Fanalab, bug or configuration.

Should be there. And I think you can also use Alt + Tab to get to it. You might want to turn off minimize to tray in the settings.
Hm disabling Rev LED + enable Use wheel shift indicator in iRacing worked for me on a DD1 😕
Maybe you forgot to save the profile after disabling the Rev LED?
Which will be a resonable Friction Limit for Understeer and Oversteer Vibration in Assetto Corsa Competizione? 6°?
is there a way to export all profiles at once?
Not directly.
You can however go into the folder where all the profiles are stored. That way you can easily Export (and also Import) hundreds of profiles at once.
It's in C:\user\AppData\Local\PodiumControl or something like that. Need to check the exact path later
thank you :)
Just looked and its C:\users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Fanatec\FanaLab\settings
There you can find several folders with numbers.
0_0 is AC, 0_1 ACC, 1_1 AMS2, 4_6 F1 2020, 5_0 iRacing for example.

Yes you should.
I always uninstall old versions before installing a new version, yes.
Your profiles will stay and it's just a bit cleaner.. ;)
