CSL Elite PS4+ Disconnecting mid race.

HI all,
Purchased the bundle in July 2020 and 6 or 7 times now it has disconnected for no reason mid game.
Seems to be no obvious reason as sometimes it will work for 4 - 5 hours before it happens, other times its 20 minutes.
All connections fine, new firmware updated no issues but at £600 I am less than impressed. I'm talking to Fanatec about it and have had to send photo of USB port on wheelbase for some reason, almost makes me think they know what the issue is but we'll see.
Anyone had the same issues and know what may be causing it?

Which driver? Did you check if the setting for power saving connected USB devices is unchecked?
Wiggly power cord by the base connection? It seems to be sensitive. Try to wiggle it carefully and see if it turns off.
