Damper kit for V3 noise

Hi, 

I recently installed the damper kit on my v3 pedal, when I start playing I have to ''pump'' 30 seconds the pedal who make noise like there was sand inside and after it start to be smooth

is it normal? It does the same for the 2 damper I received

Yes this is normal and the way how such a damper works.
