McLaren V2 USA not available till FEB 20 AT EARLIEST
Just got off the phone with support to learn a shipping container didn't come in meaning nobody will be getting their wheels till at least late February at earliest. Went ahead and cancelled my order because I don't feel like giving a company that keeps their customers in the dark like that especially with how much money their products are.

No kidding? I never received an email, in fact I've received no information on my order since I placed it.
Had to retype the message. Went to fix and a type-o and got bitten by the bug that says your post is pending for approval. 🤬
Strange because over the past few days, people reporting that received an email from Fanatec that explained exactly that.

This is ridiculous. I understand the COVID-19 logistics delays but i've pre-ordered since day one, the pandemic has been going on for a year and i had little to no issues with many online orders even recently. My availability changed from Jan 20 to Feb 9 and now Feb 19 in one week. I'm on the border of canceling at this point.
Man it is not their fault that a shipping conatiner got delayed... What do you want them to do.... Buy a shipping company and own also the container vessels that transporting the goods?
The other day a vessel from MAERSK Lines due to bad weather LOST 700+ containers that dropped into the pacific ocean.

and I thought the pandemic would let us learn to be more patient again. I guess I was wrong. Now you actually get an answer on why it gets delayed and yet you still complain.
As i was just about to cancel my Mclaren V2 for the Formula V2 since its in stock supposedly. The mclaren order changed to processed and an email received for warehouse prep and shipment soon. Not sure how that makes sense with the shipping container being lost. I understand patience during these times but this is just confusing and frustrating....
I dont get it, everyone that says that will cancel their orders will eventually re-order it so you might as well keep the order you have currently. There has delays all over the place. This pandemic has created a lot of people wanting to get quality product for IRacing. Fanatec had no idea there would be an increase in their products from customers all over the world when the product is manufactured in one place. I'm sorry you just have to be patient. The McLaren rim is also their most popular product right now and production is limited. I had the same problem with getting a certain color iphone. You really cant hold fanatec to a date they said because things happen. I part of subscription base from the UK and i havent received any contact with this company since DEC and they told me my kits would ship 15 Jan 21. Well I do know the UK is on lock down so i have to assume they cant ship on kits. I have to be patient. I sure Fanatec has limited personnel also. Give Fanatec a break. Fanatec lives matter.
