BMW GT2 is this SAFE..?

G'day..

My old GT2 rim does not have the LH analog direction joystick installed. The black wire is removed and the thin ribbon cable too.. I have never used this on my DD2 as this came with a second hand CSW I use to own..


Is it safe to use or could it cause any electrical issues with my DD2 wheel base? I presume it will be OK however I thought I would double check before I consider using it..
