Whining noise from wheelbase

Hey everyone! I’ve had my CSW 2.5 and v3 pedals about a week now and haven’t had any issues until today. 


Since last night I’ve had a constant whining noise coming from the wheel base whenever there is input from the wheel, throttle or pedal. If I turn the wheel off while in game and turn it back on the problem goes away, but if I exit the game (iracing) and rejoin the problem is back. The rear fan also no longer comes on even after an hour of constant driving. Up until yesterday it would come on after a few minutes of driving. 


Would it be possible the latest patch in iracing has caused issues? It was working fine up until the latest maintenance downtime. 


Any help would be appreciated!
