DD Wheelbase and Caution Torque message
Hi,
When starting the wheelbase, I have this message caution torque key inserted
I have seen in previous post that this message which normally need approval action by pressing button can disappear by turning the wheel by 90°
It does nothing if I do so. I also use non fanatec wheel and would like to know how to validate this message so that it can disappear ?
Thanks ,
Denis

Which driver do you have installed and which firmware is flashed on your base?
When the wheel is attached with a Podium Hub or ClubSport Universal Hub the Torque message can be accepted by turning the wheel 90° to the right but this requires a not outdated firmware.
turn it 90° to the right and a bar should fill up on the OLED. Once this bar is full the message will disappear.
I have the version PC driver 400 and whell base firmware 684
and this 90° operation to the right do nothing
Thx
Which hub you have the wheel attached too?
When above the guys say that you have to do 90° you turn left or right and keep it there until a bar in the oled screen has appeared and then gets full.
as said, a bar should appear and it has to fill up, don't simply steer to the left or right.
Yes, understood, I have podium hub and I try it with a fanatec endurance GT3 wheel. maybe as he detects a fanatec wheel, it doesn't work, is it possible ?
Anyway, no bar appears.
but i will receive a no-fanatec wheel and try to find out how remove this caution message

Thanks Alexandro 🙏
As I have a dashboard screen in front of the wheel base, I was expectating to see the same information as on the GT3 fanatec wheel !
Indeed, on the wheel base, it's ok
Which wheel you have?
Porsche with BME? If yes and since your are on 400 drivers it should show on your PBME screen as well.
Podium Steering Wheel Porsche 911 GT3
I have to push on any button on the wheel to disappear the caution message; it's not a problem.
You solved my problem with your video.
thks a lot
I know. But same as it showed on the OLED screen of the base shown in the video, same should show in the PBME apparently if you are on 400. (if you are on previous then only shows in base oled).
And you can do the same with the PBME GT3 wheel. Without having to touch the button for testing purposes.
I do both for example. 😎
btton or wheel. Whatever comes in mind at that point.
Happy that helped you. Enjoy.
This is not correct. The PBME torque message can only be cleared with a button press. The 90 degree method only works for the torque message on the wheelbase. The PBME screen does not show the bar even on 400 and higher.
Weren’t you that yountold me that the 400/402 mirrors the OLED screen messages on the beta thread? 🤔
or do you mean that if someone has the PBME with 400-402 drivers there is no other option than the button to accept the high torque?
Anyway. Apparently the video I sent him worked and now is enjoying his gear. 😉
I'll simplify to help you understand - warning messages are mirrored on the PBME. Turning the wheel does not dismiss the message on the PBME, it only dismisses it on the wheelbase. Hope this clears your confusion. 😋
