Clubsport V3 Brake Pedal Hysteresis

I'm wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions for how to remove the hysteresis (physical) from the brake pedal. I'm guessing it's a matter of proper lubrication, so wondering if there are tips for how much, or if there is a better lubricant than the one provided by Fanatec.

I notice this issue most prominantly when I want to tap the brakes for some extra rotation when not heavily on the brakes. I have to add a lot more brake pedal to reach the desired % signal output, then if I'm trailing off already applied brakes. It really messes with my muscle memory. The really frustrating part is that it varies throughout playing, assuming it's dependent on the rubber/foam temperature, maybe lubrication has fallen to the base of the brake cylinder, etc.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
