Assign keys to buttons?

Was just gifted a clubsport wheel/base with a BMW wheel.
Was wondering if one could assign keyboard keys to buttons? e.g. assign keyboard F2 to a button?

Using third party tool like Joystick Gremlin it should be possible.
You can also run joy2key. I use it in combination with glovePIE to run a debounce script when the game doesn’t have its own debounce
