Can't get rid of a very loud squeak coming from the accelerator pedal. It only occurs when the pedal returns. Used the lithium grease as instructed by the manual but no luck. Anyone have a solution?

You need to do that time to time, maby somekind silicon based spray would be best.
If you open that sometime like change harder spring for gas, then put lithium grease to those surfaces pointed red lines.
It last longer than just spray.
