CSL DD - Buzzing noise coming from wheelbase
I've noticed after using my CSL DD in iRacing, it occasionally starts making a feint buzzing noise that almost sounds like coil whine. I can make the noise stop momentarily by moving the wheel back and forth, but if it sits still it keeps buzzing.
I thought it was the 8nm boost pack/PSU, but that has a separate very quiet whine that is higher pitched, to hear the whine from PSU it has to be right by my head. But the CSL DD buzz I can hear much clearer.
Restarting the CSL DD stops the noise completely, but I'm worried it indicates something wrong internally.
Just wanted to post here to see if anyone else has noticed this

Some of the PSU have this. It will not affect the wheelbase but you can try contact support if it is annoying.
The noise is coming from the wheelbase itself, not the PSU. Could it still be a PSU issue?
It is normal for the motor to generate a small amount of electrical noise when powered on. If you are not satisfied with the noise then please contact support, ideally with a recording of the noise.

If the noise does not get louder and all is well with the base and wheel, I would say go with it...
GT3 cars are even louder with every mechanical noise possible... Can you still hear the sound with a helmet? 😉😁😁😁
I also have the same problem, I also have the 8 Nm power supply, the power supply does not whistle to tell the truth, but the base, after the last update, started to put this electric noise. If the noise does not increase and the wheel is fine for me there are no problems !!! Let's keep in touch for any evolutions I uploaded a video on YouTube to which I put the link
