Cable to connect pedals to DD to short

Hi there,

I just received the DD steering wheel and I also have the clubsport V3 pedals. The problem that I have is that the supplied cable for connecting the pedals to the steeringwheel is to short. Before I do something stupid I want to know if a standard UTP cable with RJ45 connectors will do? I tied a search on cable in a few forums but nothing came up

Hi Martin,

Our pedal connection is RJ12, not RJ45. If you want to use a longer RJ12 you just need to ensure it is with 'straight' wiring. You also shouldn't use one that is longer than necessary. The longer the cable, the more chance that it can have signal quality problems or suffer from interference.

Hello, same here, cable is just too short - so I went to Amazon to get a longer cable (2m max). Is Straight Through the same as Straight wiring? Sorry for basic question.
