Rim Swapping Question

Hello all! This may be a dumb question but I'm fairly new to Fanatec kit. Do I need to turn off my wheelbase (CSL Elite PS4) before I change rims? Or is it okay to just pull my Formula Rim off and throw the P1 rim on when I swap games? I don't want to mess anything up or I was thinking it's best to turn it off so it can recalibrate with the new rim on. Any clarity would be great.

You can swap the rims without turning the wheel base off.
