“This Black Friday edition has a different grip texture compared to the standard version” Is that grip going to be suede on the normal version?
What r the differences between the P1 v2 and WRC wheel, excluding the Alacantra Grip and I think XBOX compatibility.
I have a WRC BNiB I got a few weeks ago as an XMAS present for the kids but I like the look of the P1 more.
So, you didn't see any leaked photo of this new PS base from this summer? 🍿🍿🍿
Yeah I saw it. I thought it was a little strange that they would opt for the name “GT DD Pro” instead of CSL DD licensed for PlayStation. I understand the GT part (Gran Turismo), but DD Pro… could be a different base. And also the base in the picture looked a little different, much more round at the edges again this could just be a prototype of a CSL DD for PlayStation, or it could be housing a bigger motor. You never know. Also do you think the QR2 will launch with this?
The "leaked photos" look more like a knock-off product. The packaging appears quite low quality - not something I've experienced with Fanatec. Yes, it could be prototype packaging, but the combination looks off. Similar to the low-quality quad-copters which are made to look like DJI models. I'll wager behind that convenient curtain it reads "Fanatac" - a knock-off brand I've seen over the years on ebay.
Jetzt wirds spannend!!!!
Entweder liegt ein Podium Racing Wheel F1 oder en Gutschein für eine neu vorgestelltes DD für PS5 unter dem Christbaum!!
This assumes you can get a PS5 for less than the price of a private island ;-)
No, the 'standard' P1 V2 will also use a rubber grip. The appearance and feel of the texture is different.
The leaked photos are definitely genuine. I accidentally posted a picture of the leak on the Fanatec subreddit and it got removed due to it being a product in development. The tease at the bottom of the page is the top right corner of the right side of the box in the leaks.
Ja ganz normal bei dem großen Onlineanbieter A......... letztes jahr vor Weihnachten um 500€ gekauft!!! ;-)
Hope the P1 wheel has some decent quality rubber on it and doesn't get sticky after a while like some other gaming peripherals I have that have rubber grips.
Will def order the load cell pedal and metal pedal face plates.
Been waiting months for these!
I've found rubberised grips remain fine unless not used for a long time. Either skin oils protect the coatings or as the sebum ages it damages the coating as it oxidises. Either way, it's a good idea to feel-up your wheel regularly. ;-)
We are still waiting for the grand launch.
