No rev lights in ACC with BMW GT2 V2 wheel?

Is thsi because you have to run the CSL DD in comp mode in order to get it to work with ACC? At least that's what I've had to do as ACC won't recognise it in PC mode.

Yes.
Makes sense, thanks. Any reason why the CSL DD isn't officially recognised by ACC? Too new or some other reason?
The Base is too new and the game "too old" - the game was not updated for several months since CSL DD release BUT there is a new game Patch 1.8 for PC coming on Wednesday and I would be surprised if it does not support the CSL DD natively in PC mode then.
Oooh that would be cool!
yeah. the game takes awhile b4 they patch it with new devices out there...
@Peter Ford
how are you getting on in ACC? i am not able to get past stage 4, with gold, in career mode. wet tyre testing brands hatch...
I'll have to check, I only had it for a few weeks before my steering wheel broke (Fanatec 911 GT2) so I've been waiting for my CSL DD to arrive. I'm planning on getting back into it now that I have a working wheel again. I mainly just raced the public online lobbies which was pretty enjoyable.
online lobbies?
very brave of you... i am still learning tracks thru the career mode and increasing the SA. have only done 300+ laps on zolder and brands hatch. will have to familiarise spa, silverstone, barcelona and nurburgring b4 i head to online multiplayer...
use to play raceroom(free version) online and i know how bad online lobbies can get.
Honestly the public lobbies are actually very chilled out, I was really apprehensive of trying it myself but I just jumped in one day. I just pick one that's running a track I know, most of them just repeat that one track over and over so you have people leaving and joining all throughout the qualifying and race session so its all very laid back. No one really cares who wins, I just stay out of people's way who are clearly faster than me. I usually qualify in the top 6 or so if I manage to get a clean lap in, the weather is good and I lucky with my tyres but I usually finish anywhere from P7 to last, mainly because I'm still learning and would rather stay out of people's way but also sometimes because I crash and lose time in the garage.
I definitely recommend giving it a go.
thanks. will definitely give that a go. pointers noted. 😉 ie. "do not race those faster than you" & familiar track...
Haha yeah that's essentially what I've been doing but nothing stopping you aggressively defending your position and engaging in some hardcore racing if you wish.
