CSL DD shakes going in a straight line in ACC

My wheel shakes a lot going in a straight line in ACC.
I use the recommended settings, used compatibility mode, PC mode, tried different settings but it keeps happening.
I get a lot of vibrations and if I don't hold the wheel tight while the car is going on a straight, the wheel shakes more and more until I lose control and crash.
If someone knows what should I change to correct this I would appreciate it.

Is that in ACC or AC?
Try increasing damper to see how it feels. Recommended settings is just a start then you have to tweak it.
Is it only under acceleration?
Try in game Damper setting at 50 , then increase a little if needed .
This worked perfect for me used recommended settings from the forum and added 50 to the damper.
ACC. Going in a straight like spa or monza, every little bump makes it vibrate a lot, it's like there's no damping.
I tried increasing it until getting to 100% it makes the steering wheel heavier but it won't stop the vibrations
pls post yr fanatec control panel settings under advance. and your in-game FFB settings.
My settings are the same as recommended by this forum including the 50% Damper of the 1.8 update.

Fanatec control menu settings:
SEN: 1080
FF: 100
FFS: Linear (yes linear is correct) - FFB may not be as strong as if it is too strong, it overwhelms what you are suppose to feel. (very personal)
NDP: 30
NFR: 5
NIN: 13
INT: 2
FEI: 80
FOR: 100
SPR: 100
DPR: 100
SHO: 100
In-Game Settings:
Force Feedback
Steer lock: 1080
Gain: 70
Min Force: 0
Dynamic Damping: 100

Guys , I have a CSL DD with boost kit with heavy 918RSR wheel, and like many have I have found the latest 1.8 version of ACC problematic , ie . with recommended settings it can feel too muddy / too much damping .
So after much experimenting I have found an alternative that gives a raw . undamped feeling with very fine detail and no wheel oscillations.
Try these settings
Sen 1080
FF 100
FFS Peak
NDP 20
NFR 12
NIN Off
INT Off
FEI 100
FOR 100
SPR 100
DPR 50
SHO 100
In Game

Note : Having INT disabled made a big difference , much less resistence ! Also disabling NiN and having a little NFR worked the best to reduce wheel oscillations and give a weightier but still nimble feel to the steering force ( this is perfect for a bigger wheel setup ! )
For those with smaller lighter wheels I would recommend having the default NiN value and maybe <10 NFR .
Also make sure the new Damper setting in Game is 0 as this made the wheel feel really too damper and sluggish.
Hope these settings work for you guys , as they make driving Monza , especially in a Ferrari 488 evo very special.

Thanks, I will try these. If I'm on a straight it's like driving through gravel, lots of small vibrations that turn into big ones if I don't hold the wheel. Does this ever happened to you?
What firmware are you using? May need to contact support. Take a video of what is happening as well? Someone else also reported something that sounds like what you are going through.

If I let go of the wheel on the Monza straight , I get maybe a 2cm oscillation and no more !
Latest firmware, I tried to update it last Sunday. I did a 24h of le mans race in Assetto Corsa and it worked fine, no issues, I assumed it was a wrong setting of some sort not an hardware issue.
Mine does more than that for sure. Not all the time, just on the straights.
What car are you using and on which track in AC. Let me try it out.
I have AC but do not play much on it. I feel as though AC over amplify the FFB to give a false sense, like as though it is there to satisfy users that there is FFB rather than giving actual details of traction and grip.

I've made a video how it oscillates for me, was hoping to fix with damping but it does not help
In video you can see on throttle and then I calm it down and without throttle then steer and release , always the same
REMOVE DRIVERS AND LUTS of your previous wheel. I upgraded from a G923 and was having this exact experience. Crazy oscillations as soon as I let go of the wheel, random clicks in straights and weak forces while turning.
Decided to do a clean install of windows before resorting to returning the wheel. Now the wheel is super smooth and is delivering awesome forces. I don’t even think I need the 8nm psu for now.
How and from where did you remove the lut and driver files ? I am little confused. Can you help please ?

Where did you uninstall the drivers for logitech?
I just upgraded from a G29 to the CSL DD 5nm and im having the same issues
oscillation may come if set the Angle/Sen too low. some games simply can't handle low Sen
For example in
Automobilista
Euro/American truck simulator
they start vibrate insane if set to low
