DD1 Bricked?? Ive tried everything fanatec says plus checked forum
Hello Everyone,
I've tried everything i possibly can with my DD1 and Clubsport Formula V2 rim.
I was updating to driver 429 on my PC. Then went to click on update firmware. While it was updating the software it got to 74% then shut my wheel off randomly. Now my wheel wont recognize anything. Ive tried uninstalling drivers, fanalab, reinstalling drivers (old versions), manually removing drivers for what i found in the forums. Nothing, absolutley nothing... I sent a support ticket last saturday and havent heard anything from fanatec on what i can do with this.. Below is the what appears when the wheel is connected to my PC. It appears no matter what USB port its plugged into.
Error: Connect device failed(Error: UartPeripheral() cannot open PC UART port(COM6), speed(19200 Hz).).
Power OFF the wheel base and retry update.

Did you try to restart in bootloader mode by pressing the on/off button for about 10 seconds?
Yes, I've tried that multiple times to see if it fixes anything. After It flashes the firmware and restarts it says "Power Off Wheel". So I power it off and then wait like 20 seconds, then proceed to turn it back on to get the same faulty response.
Uninstall 429. restart pc. install 432 drives. Start the base in bootloader mode and manual update everything in the UI step step as described from Marcel and Maurice in that thread.
If not fixed extract the logs and post them in the 432 topic.
Same with my DD2. Did you have a solution for this?
