Hello, I´m having an issue with the flag leds, please read below:
Issue:
In iRacing and ACC the leds for white/green/yellow/blue flags turn on for 2-3 seconds and then turn off, in spite of the game is showing flags. This happens using the recommended settings or with Maurice´s latest settings pack.
Curious fact: When using the formula v2 wheel in the same base, flgas leds behavior is correct: they last the same as in the sim. For example: white flag leds ON all final lap duration.
Hardware:
DD1 v690
Motor v42
PBME v19
Podium hub v6
wireless QR v6
SW:
Driver v434
Fanalab v1.61.3
Things already tried:
-Drivers re-install and flashed firmware for all components
-Fanalab re-install deleting personal settings
-Performed RevLeds test, all leds working fine
-Loading the setting, save as new version making sure flag Leds are enabled.
I am using the CSL DD with boost kit, formula v2.5x, and CSR elite pedals.
With the pedals connected (via USB), fanalab will NOT open, it will hang and appear unresponsive prior to the main screen until I unplug the pedals, then will instantly load and work normally. After this I can plug in the pedals but must avoid touching the pedal tab in fanalab, as this will cause it to hang again (it appears to recognize the CSR elite as a CSL set). Any pedal config must be done on the "Fanatec USB pedals" tab under the usb game controller menu. This is with driver 424 on the CSR.
@maurice which wheel are you using to build those profiles? Got my Porsche Podium 911 today and got a mismatch on the steering wheel while importing the profile.
Thought you were using the same wheel for the profiles but where I had to lower the FFB when using the Formula V2 I had to crank it up with the Porsche wheel (which makes sense because it’s larger and heavier).
It's not possible to disable the Display via FanaLab, this would need to come via Firmware but it's nothing to be considered at this stage AFAIK when firmware re-write is fully ongoing to fix the Jolts next year.
It tells you that the wheel base does not match because you load profiles which were made with a DD2 but you have a DD1. So it literally tells you the reason it's showing up...
I downloaded the latest drivers (434), uploaded to the latest firmware and downloaded the 1.61.3 fanalab software.
The only issue I still have with my CSL Elite PS4 base is with the "Base Rev LED" :
With all my rims with included LED : 1 "Rev LED" section + 1 "Base Rev LED" section available in Fanalab and both works in game
With all my rims without included LED : 1 "Base Rev LED" section BUT it does not work in game, no led lights up
I've tried with all my rims without included LED, a couple of ClubSport Steering Wheel Universal Hub for XBOX ONE (CSW_RUHX) and also my CSL Elite Steering Wheel McLaren GT3 (CSL_E_RMcL) and the result is the same. I can see the option and tune my base rev LED but once in the game nothing works.
Ever since I updated to driver 434 and fanalab 1.61 when I open fanalab the screen on my dd1 base shows a telemetry screen instead of the standard screen with the fanatec logo, does anyone know if this is a bug or a setting issue?
Hi Maurice, i know it loads my favourite telemetry on my actual wheel display on the pbme, that is fine. But on the wheelbase itself I do not have a favourite itm selected. This is prior to me loading a profile it shows itm. I have to manually click on default everytime to get the fanatec logo to show when I boot up fanalab.
Your Base just does not support this feature, same in the driver. It doesnt have Advanced enough electronics to support the Tuning Menu, nothing you can do.

That's a firmware issue of the BME Firmware v19.
Is it possible to load the included recommended game profiles to a different setup index than "1"?
No.

😀 and a happy new year

Maybe an idea to add support in Fanalab to disable the wheelbase display while the jolts issue isn’t fixed?
Used wheel is shown in the preview.
It's a Mix of Formula v2 and Podium GT World Challenge, based on if the real car in game uses a more Formula style GT3 wheel or a round wheel.
It's not possible to disable the Display via FanaLab, this would need to come via Firmware but it's nothing to be considered at this stage AFAIK when firmware re-write is fully ongoing to fix the Jolts next year.
Ah, time for a new routine then and put it back on the logo screen while booting everything up 😉
Good to hear that the firmware rewrite is actually something that’s worked on at the moment.
Why does this message show ? i am loading the .pws file.
What Base do you have...?
You may be in the wrong mode (PC vs CMP).
Hi, the telemetry for Kartkraft is not working.
I am not sure whether it's a problem with the game or Fanalab.
Thanks for answers. I have the BMW wheel and the Podium F1 wheel
Then the message is correct.
It tells you that the wheel base does not match because you load profiles which were made with a DD2 but you have a DD1. So it literally tells you the reason it's showing up...
Hello :)
I downloaded the latest drivers (434), uploaded to the latest firmware and downloaded the 1.61.3 fanalab software.

It's a known issue and on the list to be fixed next year.
Ever since I updated to driver 434 and fanalab 1.61 when I open fanalab the screen on my dd1 base shows a telemetry screen instead of the standard screen with the fanatec logo, does anyone know if this is a bug or a setting issue?
Thats a new feature. FanaLab now always directly switches to your favorite ITM page of the last used profile.
If you dont want this then you have to disablen the Fav Page in ITM.
Thank you for the info ;)
CSL DD (8nm), Driver 434 with firmware base 1.1.3.2 / base motor 1.0.2.2.
Fanalab doesn't open. It shows the logo with black background but after that nothing happens.
Already tried to unistall everything with revo and didn't work.
Delete all related folders under user/appdata/local
Installed FanaLab for the first time.
In the "Tuning Menu" I get the message "Wheel device not supported".
My "Active Devices" are "CSL Elite Wheel Base" and "CSL Elite Steering Wheel McLaren GT3 V1.0".
The PC Driver Version is 434.
Is there a problem or FanaLab can not be used with my setup?
Hi Maurice, i know it loads my favourite telemetry on my actual wheel display on the pbme, that is fine. But on the wheelbase itself I do not have a favourite itm selected. This is prior to me loading a profile it shows itm. I have to manually click on default everytime to get the fanatec logo to show when I boot up fanalab.

Still doesn't work :/
Did you delete them all? I don't remember the exact name of the folders, I know one of them is podium control
