CSL Elite pedals with CSL LC brake?

Hi!
I have the CSL Elite pedals and since it looks like the CSL Elite LC brake won't become available again, I am considering combining my pedals with the CSL LC brake instead.
The pedals are mounted in a rig, so it wouldn't be a problem, that the base plate is not compatible with the brake pedal.
However, would it work on a driver level?
The CSL Elite pedals would be connected via the CSL DD base and the CSL LC brake would be connected via USB. Would the Fanatec driver be able to handle that?

Nope, not working. CSL LC is ONLY compatible with CSL Pedals, NOT with CSL Elite Pedals, not even as standalone pedal via USB!
