DD2 BMW GT2 Rim keeps randomly down shifting by its self

I keep having trouble with my DD2 and BMW Rim, it keeps randomly downshifting by its self when driving its never done it before now started doing it this week and has been getting worse, i have checked all the pins and the firmware is up to date has this happened before to anyone? have also contact fanatec support hoping for an answer :(
