Formula 2.5x Display/Revlights not customisable?

Hey, I've just got my new CSL DD and my Formula 2.5X, so I connected everything and updated all the drivers, started F1 2021 and this is where my Problem begins. Maybe its really simple and im just missing something however I tried to customise my Rev lights and set up my controls. When I use the DD in compatability mode the lights and the Oled work fine but not the way I want it, it displays speed rather than gear etc. and the MPS and Encoder dont work. When I switch to PC mode they work just fine but the Oled is off as well as the rev lights. Now im sitting here trying to figure out if its something with me or the wheel, I tried switching game Profiles with no luck tho.
I'd really aprectiate any help, best regards.

You need to customize the LEDs and the Display in Fanalab and Enable Telemetry Output and Fanalab support as well as disabling in game native support.
Hey, thanks for the quick response, where/ how do I have to disable said native support, and for the telemetry do I have to somewhere switch the IP in Fanalab for the UDP or do I just need to enable UDP broadcast ingame?
Just click the two green button on the game profile Tab in Fanalab, it is doing everything for you. You then only have to customize the LEDs and the Display the way you want.
UDP broadcast in game has to be set to OFF btw, but clicking the two green buttons should set it properly.
Thanks, that seemed to do the trick!
Quick question on that topic: if UDP broadcast needs to be Off for customizable LEDs/ display, does that mean we are unable to simultaneously do that, and run something like Sim Dashboard (which requires UDP broadcast to be On)?
Yes and no. Dont have SimHub so cant really comment 100% on it but from what I heard You need to broadcast not from the game but from SimHub itself, so SimHub forwards the UDP to Fanalab.
Wouldn't the game itself need to broadcast UDP information though? Otherwise how would Sim Dashboard/ SimHub have any data to forward to Fanalab? Or am I misunderstanding something here? 🤔
This is a good question. Im looking hard at that wheel because of the lights. My pit runs on simhuub in all my sims... If UDP gets in the way of Fanatec wheels, thats a big deal for pit builders. I didnt buy a metal frame to mount a wheel. I have the complete driver side and console section of my retired car. I just ordered a complete fanatec rig to replace my Thrustmaster t500 rig. My dash gauges, switches and seat are run with simhub. I guess I better start researching this issue so I can cancel before its shipped. Yes, Im freaking but this is crazy if its true.
