Trouble connecting with STEAM game

I down loaded two games off of STEAM and wasn't able to connect my Podium Racing Wheel F1 to play. Has anyone else had this problem and what am I doing wrong?

The two games are Project Cars 2 & Assetto Corrsa.

I did download the appropriate drivers for the PC and can test the wheel. I just can't get the wheel to respond to the game. What should the setting be?

Have you mapped the buttons in game? For Project Cars2 you have to either be in COMP v2.5 mode or choose Generic Wheel and map each button.

Since you said you can test the wheel, I assume the DD is in PC mode?

  • @joseph Gossen,

    Thank you for your response.

Yes, the DD was in PC mode and I even tried it in Comp. V2.5 mode as well.

I didn't map any of the buttons and that might solve the problem I am having. Has anyone mapped the buttons before? and is there a cheat sheet or something for what buttons to map to what commands?

Also, How do I map the pedals?

In AC - Settings/Controls and you can either try choosing a preset for the wheel combo you have or on the right select individual inputs and map them.

PCars2 it would be under controls/assignments
