Universal Hub Version 1 is not hot plug like other wheels ?

Hello,


I have a CSL DD with 2 wheels,

  • McLaren gt3
  • Universal Hub Xbox Version 1 with ClubSport Magnetic Paddle Module


If I change game or car sometime I switch the wheel too, I found that sometime the Universal Hub is not responding at all after a change. but if I reconnect the McLaren gt3 it's fine.

The strange thing is the  Universal Hub is recognised by Fanatec control panel but when any button is pressed it doesn't register it. As well the display don't work anymore, either by testing the display via Fanatec control panel function or pressing settings button on the wheel itself.

I tried without success with latest driver 434 :

  • exiting the game
  • powering off the base by using the button 3 sec
  • restarting my computer


The only way to make it work again is disconnecting the power supply from the wheel base and wait few minutes.


I would like to know if it's a known problem or my Universal Hub might be defective.

For fanatec team I will happy to help if needed.
